About the Programme

  • Clerkenwell Health is committed to transforming mental health and CNS treatments by developing specialised clinical research infrastructure and deep expertise in CNS and psychiatry. For smaller companies, advancing innovations often means navigating an industry structured around the needs of larger players. Traditional CRO support often fails to address the unique challenges these companies face, leaving many feeling underserved and unsatisfied. This programme bridges that gap, offering select innovators a partnership designed to accelerate clinical development with a bespoke, solution-driven approach.

    • Application deadline: 31st of January, 2025. 

    • Successful applicants announced: 15th of February, 2025

    • This programme is open to small to medium sized biotech, pharma and medtech companies focused on CNS and psychiatry - whether you’re just beginning clinical trials or advancing to later phases. 

    • Applications are welcome from companies worldwide. 

  • Step 1: Complete the application form by the 31st of January, 2025. It should take 5-10 minutes.

    Step 2: Wait for notification. Successful applicants will be contacted by the 15th of February, 2025. 

    • Applications will be reviewed by our team based on the alignment of your needs with our expertise, the potential impact of the partnership, and the commitment to collaboration. 

    • Finalists will be notified by the 15th of February, 2025.

    • Successful applicants will be invited to join our programme and will receive details on how to access the free workshop and other benefits. 

  • As part of this programme, selected participants will receive the following valuable benefits to support their clinical development efforts: 

    • Free Workshop: Access to a 90-minute tailored workshop focusing on clinical development, regulatory strategy, and clinical trial design in CNS and psychiatry. Led by our CSO Dr Henry Fisher and relevant experts from our scientific, regulatory, or commercial teams, this workshop offers actionable insights to design efficient and patient-centered trials.

    • Grant Support: Benefit from expert guidance for applications to leading grant programmes like Innovate UK, NIHR, and the Wellcome Trust. Our support includes budgeting, project design, and other essential aspects to help you secure funding and advance your research and development.

    • 20% Discount on CRO Services: You’ll receive a 20% discount on all our contract research organisation (CRO) services, ensuring you have the resources you need at a more accessible cost. 

    • Access to Our Network: You’ll also gain connections to our extensive network of specialised service providers, investors, key opinion leaders and leading researchers. This network can offer valuable collaboration opportunities and resources to further your clinical and business goals. 

    • Visibility & Exposure: Successful applicants will be featured on our website, gaining visibility among industry leaders and potential collaborators in the neuro space.
